Cake with Lemon

200g flour
200g sugar
100g butter
4 eggs
1/2 sachet of baking powder
2 untreated lemons
20 pieces of brown sugar
Preparation of the recipe :
Step 1
Grate the zest of a lemon.

Whisk the whites of eggs in snow, then set aside.

Melt the butter and let it cool.
Step 4
Whisk vigorously the egg yolks with the sugar.
Step 5
Add the zest of the lemon and the sifted flour with the yeast.
Step 6
Stir in the cooled melted butter and whisk them very gently.
Step 7
Pour into a buttered and floured cake pan and bake at 180 ° C for 40 min.
Preparation of syrup :
Meanwhile, melt the 20 pieces of sugar with the juice of the 2 lemons (the one that has been grown and the whole secon). Boil light until the consistency of a syrup.
As soon as the cake is cooked, pour the syrup over it while it is still hot so that it will permeate well.
Let cool and enjoy.
